The FMS6141 fourth-order, single-channel video filter/driver promises to reduce component counts by approximately 20% and to reduce test and design times and inventory costs. Groomed for applications such as portable DVD players and printers for digital still cameras, the device replaces second- or third-order passive devices typically used in digital consumer applications. Features include an 8-MHz cutoff frequency, 48 dB of stopband attenuation, and diode clamps and bias circuitry accommodating both ac- or dc-coupled input signals.
