Flash programming of the 32-kbyte memory only requires 2.5 V, making it ideal for battery operation in devices like altimeters and portable instrumentation. The chip incorporates an LCD interface and charge pump to minimize the system's bill of materials. Other peripherals include a five-channel, 15-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a programmable gain, a 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a 1-µs settling time, 32 GPIO, and an on-chip oscillator.
