Integrating an op amp, filter and sync-tip clamp within a 1 mm x 1.5 mm chip scale package (CSP) that is mountable between the pins of a BNC connector, the ISL59111 may be the smallest video driver available. Its multi-talented, 8-MHz low-pass filter removes GSM noise from the video band and also serves as an anti-aliasing filter. Input sensing is performed below the ground rail, a technique said to allow the driver to see negative sync pulses better than comparable devices. Delivering rail-to-rail outputs, operating voltage ranges from 2.5V to 3.6V with an operating current of 2 mA and less than 3 µA when disabled. Price is $1.59 in each/ 1,000.
