Extending its line of video-based semiconductors, the company's latest offering, the LF3304, is a dual-line buffer and FIFO that utilizes two 12-bit , x 4K RAM banks and operates at up to 100 MHz. Allowing users access to internal pointers and configuration options, this device can be configured in a variety of ways for use in video, networking and communications applications.
Being a programmable device, a variety of control options are available. Independent read and write resets allow control over the internal pointers. The part can be programmmed as two independent 12-bit x 4K/FIFOs, as a three 8-bit x 4 K line buffer/FIFO, as one 24-bit x 4K line buffer/FIFO, or as a 12-bit x 8K line buffer.
Available in a 100-pin PQFP package, prices start at $11.74 each/10,000.
