Designed for switching RF- and video-signal frequencies to 200 MHz in both 50 ohm and 75 ohm systems, MAX4589 low-voltage, dual two-channel multiplexer can control on-chip functions through either a parallel interface or an SPI/MICROWAVE serial port. Applications include RF and video-signal routing, high-speed data acquisition, and ATE. Each channel has a “T-switch” configuration that ensures excellent off-isolation and low crosstalk. On-resistances are low at 60 ohms max. and are matched and flat across the specified signal range. The device operates from a single 2.7V to 12V supply or from dual supplies in the ±2.7V to ±6V range. The device is available in 20-pin DIP, SSOP and wide-SO packages.
