Supporting HDTV, SDTV, and a variety of digital media processors, the THS7314, THS7315, and THS7316 three-channel video buffers take on consumer video apps where performance, space savings, and lower system costs are required. The amplifiers employ a fifth-order Butterworth filter, which can be used as an encoder's DAC reconstruction filter. The devices provide video buffering by rejecting DAC images for better video quality. They operate from a single 3V to 5V supply, eliminating the need for a separate 5V supply, and deliver rail-to-rail outputs. Each channel drives two video lines, or 75-Ω loading. The THS7314, THS7315, and THS7316 are available now in lead-free, eight-pin SOIC packages. Prices are $0.40, $0.50, and $0.55 each/1,000, respectively. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX.
