Jointly developed by R.C Electronics and TEAC America, the RX-816SC portable system integrates the former's Dynamic 3000 signal conditioning amplifiers with the latter's RX-816 Hi-8 mm cassette data recorder in a single, compact package. Designed to simplify signal conditioning, recording and analysis, this 16-channel instrumentation recorder has built-in calibration with DVM and reference voltages, full self-test, and ac or dc operation. Its backplane integrates all connections from the recorder to the signal conditioners, eliminating the need for external wiring. The unit also offers a >85 dB signal-to-noise ratio allows for precise low-level signal capture.
