Reporting the industry’s lowest standby power, the single ADA4850-1 and dual ADA4850-2 video amplifiers integrate an advanced low-power shutdown in 3 mm x 3 mm lead-frame chip-scale packages. The amplifiers specify a maximum operating current of 2.7 mA and a standby current of less than 1 µA. This low-power performance is attributed to a patent pending internal shut down mechanism. The devices also include rail-to-rail outputs, which allow driving line-terminated video lines on single supply voltages as low as 2.6V. Other features include a differential gain and phase of 0.04% and 0.06°, respectively. Prices for the ADA4850-1 and ADA4850-2 are $0.55 and $0.69 each/1,000, respectively.
