The device integrates an equalizer to compensate for longer, greater than 20m cables. It is an active digital multiplexer for transition minimized differential signaling data transfers. Configured as a 3:1 switch, the chip handles as many as three input ports while using a single HDMI receiver chip. Based on the company's advanced BiCMOS6G SiGe process technology, it complies with the latest HDMI specification, version 1.3.
