Extending the company’s family of WLAN power amplifiers, the LX5553 embarks as its first amplifier for the smartphone market. It combines a 2.4-GHz WLAN power amplifier module, low-noise amplifier, and a single-pole triple-throw (SP3T) switch for sharing a single antenna between WLAN and Bluetooth systems in a 3 mm x 3 mm package.
