Promising the industry's highest level of security, the DS3644 security manager employs a patented memory scheme consisting of 1,024 bytes of non-imprinting memory. Internal tamper monitors protect against clock, electrical, and temperature tampering while tamper-detection inputs for external sensors enable complete customization. Non-imprinting memory allows users to selectively clear the memory based on user-specified tamper events. The patented memory scheme also ensures immediate data erasure in response to tampering, thus improving system security over SRAM-based designs. Available in a 49-ball, 7 mm x 7 mm CSBGA, pricing is available upon request after a mutual NDA is completed. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
