The DS3660 security manager integrates 1,024 bytes of non-imprinting memory in eight 128-byte banks that users may selectively clear based on user-specific tamper events. The device features an internal 1.8V bias source for external SRAM and is configurable to operate with a low-voltage microprocessor. Combining internal tamper monitors with tamper-detection inputs that interface with external sensors, the DS3660 achieves notably high levels of system security. Available in a 49-ball CSBGA measuring 7mm x 7mm, pricing is available on request after executing a mutual NDA. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
