Unfurled as a cost-effective device for industrial, communications, medical, military, and aerospace apps, the A2F060 SmartFusion customizable system-on-chip (cSoC) is available in commercial and industrial temperature grades. It features 60,000 system gates, a hard 100-MHz, 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller subsystem with 128 Kbytes of embedded flash and 16 KB of embedded SRAM, and programmable analog including one ADC, one DAC, and two comparators. Other features include up to 107 user I/Os including FPGA, microcontroller GPIO, and analog I/Os. SmartFusion A2F060 devices are available in FG256 and CS288 leaded and lead-free ROHS-compliant packages. An A2F200 evaluation kit is available for $99 (A2F-EVAL-KIT) and an A2F500 kit costs $999 (A2F500-DEV-KIT). MICROSEMI CORP., Irvine, CA. (800) 713-4113.
