Supporting next-generation Trusted Computing Group (TCG) standards for attack-resistant trusted computer hardware, the ST33TPM12LPC debuts as the first TPM to feature a 32-bit secure processor, allegedly surpassing existing standalone implementations. This allows the device to handle advanced cryptography algorithms and be ready to support the next-generation TPM 2.0 standard. The ST33TPM12LPC achieves functional certification and Common Criteria security certifications based on the TPM 1.2 latest Protection Profile at EAL4+ level, thereby fully complying with TPM Certification Program defined by the TCG. Other features include an embedded 90nm non-volatile memory. Samples of the ST33TPM12LPC are available in a TSSOP28 4.4-mm surface-mount package or a leadless QFN32 5 mm x 5 mm lead-free Ecopack option. Volume production will be available in the first quarter of 2012. STMICROELECTRONICS, Lexington, MA. (888) 787-3550.
