The ML6101xx Series of mini low-power MCUs from Lapis are designed for embedded applications requiring a very small microcontroller providing high computational performance and dedicated control functions, while consuming low power. Applications include motor control, energy harvesting, audio control, smoke/fire detection, security/access control, battery management, home appliances, lighting control and power monitoring. The architecture is made up of a processing core, non-volatile memory and RAM plus embedded peripheral functions including: GPIO, PWMs, counter/timer blocks, ADCs and comparators. The timing reference circuit is completely integrated within the devices, and with a 2.7 to 5.5 Vdc supply voltage range and a -40ºC to 85ºC temperature range, they can be used in battery-powered and energy-harvesting applications located in harsh environments. The ML610Q100,101,102,104,111 and112 are available now in 10-, 16-, 20- and 30-pin SSOP. Also included in the series are the ML610Q172,173,174 and 178, which have the same features with the addition of LCD display controllers and are available now in 64-, 80- and 100-pin TQFP. The ML610Q101-NNNMB is priced at $0.50 each/10,000 and the ML610Q178-NNNGA is $1.50 each/10,000.
