The μSDC-M Plus, a new subminiature SSD from Apacer, provides large storage space and highly efficient data transmission. With 64 GB maximum capacity, 510 MB/sec continuous reading speed, a wide -40°C ~+85°C temperature range and surface-mount technology, the SSD becomes a stable storage installation for observation and photography even in high altitude, and has recently been adopted for use in UAV applications. BGA156 packaging technology integrates the controller /flash and related components into one single chip, and reduces the size to 16 x 20 x 1.4 mm. The integrated storage device also conforms to JEDEC MO-276 specification, which significantly streamlines the main configuration. Its dual advantages combining small volume and high speed can accelerate the speed of data transmission. The SMT has 100% resistance to shock and dropping, suiting it for taking aerial photos in harsh temperature or turbulence in high altitude flight environment. The device also supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) which simultaneously improves overall efficiency and service life. Samples of the μSDC-M Plus subminiature SSD are now available for customers to run test.
