Three additions to the QuickMIPS family of FPGA-enabled MIPS processors include the QL902M, QL903M and QL904M with 122, 94 and 109 I/O pins, respectively, and operating frequency options of 175, 200 and 233 MHz. The new devices provide characterized application-specific functionality and field programmability on a single chip. The QL902M provides a FPGA fabric size of 575,000 gates while QL903M and QL904M provide 300,000 gates. The chips have a maximum theoretical memory bandwidth of 466 Mb/s. The QL902M and QL903M include a 32-bit PCI v2.2 interface that supports data rates up to 66 MHz. Pricing for QuickMIPS devices starts at $35 each/10,000. QUICKLOGIC CORP., Sunnyvale, CA.
