Claiming to be 33 percent faster than any other 36-bit device currently available, the company has significantly increased the speed of its 3.3V synchronous dual-port SRAM devices to 133 MHz. In addition, the devices are now offering user-selectable 3.3V or 2.5V I/Os on each port.
Combining these features with a 36-bit wide bus allows bandwidths up to 9.6 Gb/s, defined as width x speed x two ports. Other features include separate per-port, full-boundary counters, separate byte controls, and a dual-chip feature that simplifies the connection of two dual-port memories for depth expansion without external logic.
Four models making up the series, the IDT70V3579, 3569, 3389, and 3379, are available in a choice of PQFP, TQFP and fine-pitch BGA packages ranging in price from $39.95 to $49.95 each/10,000.
