The RTS5113, a USB 2.0 flash-drive controller, integrates a 5V/3.3V regulator, an approach said to lower the manufacturing costs associated with dual-channel and MLC flash memory devices. It supports popular flash-memory cards including the latest state-of-the-art products from suppliers such as Samsung, Toshiba, Hynix, Micron, Renesas, and STMicroelectronics. The device specifies read and write speeds of 26 MB/s and 16 MB/s, respectively. Available in a 48-pin LQFP, the chip has obtained Microsoft WHQL XP certification and is USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) compliant.
