8 Gbyte Micron DDR3 UDIMMs validated for Intel's latest Xeon processors.

DDR3 UDIMM server memory with ECC

Micron Technology is a major supplier of DDR3 memory to OEMs. Their 42nm DRAM technology uses the latest copper metalization process and their own capacitor cell technology. Their Crucial brand is available to OEMs and VARs. They are available in 1, 2, 4 and 8 Gbyte capacities. The latest DDR3 UDIMMs have been validated to work with Intel's latest Xeon processors. They can work with 1066 Mbit/s and 1333 Mbit/s interfaces. The ECC-enabled UDIMMs can correct single-bit errors.

The UDIMMs are designed for heavy duty server use. Some solutions work at temperatures of –40°C to +85°C.

Micron Technology also provides DDR3 memory in a wide range of other form factors as well including desktop and low power laptop memory. Memory chips are available to OEMs. Micron also supplies NAND flash memory products.
