Active EMI Filter Shields 48V DC/DC Apps

Tooled for 48V dc/dc converter applications, the QPI-4 active EMI filter provides attenuation from 150 kHz to 30 MHz with greater than 40 dB of common-mode and more than 70 dB of differential-mode noise attenuation at 500 kHz. The device resides in a surface-mount LGA package measuring 25.4 mm x 25.4 mm x 5.1 mm that reports space savings of 50% to 80% over passive EMI filters. Rated for 7A, it meets specifications for the international 36 to 76 Vdc telecom bus, including the 100V for 100 ms surge requirement, and supports single or multiple dc/dc converters requiring up to 336W of input power.
