Poised for space-critical designs, the A3969 dual full-bridge PWM motor driver powers both windings of a bi-phase, bipolar stepper motor. Measuring 5 mm x 5 mm x 0.9 mm in a 28-pin, lead-free quad MLP/QFN package, the device includes two H-bridges

Poised for space-critical designs, the A3969 dual full-bridge PWM motor driver powers both windings of a bi-phase, bipolar stepper motor. Measuring 5 mm x 5 mm x 0.9 mm in a 28-pin, lead-free quad MLP/QFN package, the device includes two H-bridges capable of continuous output currents of ±650 mA and operating voltages to 30V. Users can set peak load-current limits via a reference voltage and current-sensing resistors. Protection features include thermal shutdown with hysteresis, ground-clamp and flyback diodes, and crossover-current protection. Price is $1.23 each/1,000 with a typical lead-time of 12 weeks.
