DSP Cores Are Verified With Deep Sub-Micron Technologies
Both the OakDSPCore and PineDSPCore 16-bit digital signal processor cores with 0.35- and 0.25-µm process technologies have been verified. The cores are available as foundry-portable hard cores, which allows them to be used to design system-on-chip (SOC) products. Users can have their SOC designs fabricated by the firm's foundry partners, a list that includes IBM, Mitsubishi, National Semiconductor, Samsung, Sanyo Electric and more. Members of the Smartcores family of DSP cores, the OakDSPCore and Pine DSPCore are both 16-bit, general-purpose, low-power, low-voltage and high-speed DSP cores designed for speech/audio processing, telecom, digital cellular and embedded control applications.
