Fairchild Semi’s Load Switches Feature Packaging Options

The FPF100x IntelliMAX line of load switches offer industry-leading packaging options, either WL-CSP or MLP, and feature integrated slew-rate control, ESD protection, and load-discharge capabilities. They also claim best-in-class low-voltage operation at 1.2V. The FPF1003, FPF1005, and the FPF1006 promise enhanced thermal and electrical performance to designers of portable products, that is, cell phones, PDAs, and so forth. The FPF1003 comes in a 1 mm x 1.5 mm WL-CSP and specifies an on resistance of 30 mO at 5V and a current capability of 2A. The FPF1005 and FPF1006 devices are available in 2 mm x 2 mm MLPs.
