VadaTech’s Express Development Platforms are standard, high-versatility configurations designed to handle a wide range of development requirements. The first two chassis in the series—the EXP100 and EXP200—offer two Advanced Mezzanine Card (AMC) slots and six AMC slots, respectively, at 1U enclosure height. Both have an integrated shelf manager and universal ac power. The basic, low-cost-design, two-slot EXP100, with one Intel-based AMC processor (VadaTech’s AMC720), features point-to-point routing across the backplane to enable the use of any fabric (10 or 40 Gigabit Ethernet, SRI), PCIe, Aurora, etc.). The six-slot EXP200 offers more optional modules with a 6-Gbit/s SATA storage AMC and a 16-core Cavium-based packet processor. It integrates PCIe Gen 2 across the fat pipes (ports 4-7) and an option for 10 Gigabit Ethernet on ports 8-11. Both systems have the OS pre-installed. Covers can be easily removed for prototyping and development.
