Designed for system control of small home appliances, the TMP86P202P and TMP86P203P microcontrollers integrate an eight-bit CPU core with on-board memory in a compact 20-pin, plastic DIP. Otherwise identical, the TMP86P202P operates at speeds up to 8 MHz and supports a ceramic or crystal resonator, while the TMP86P203P operates up to 2.5 MHz and supports a resistance-capacitance resonator. Both devices operate on 4.5V to 5.5V supplies and include 2 KB of OTP memory, 128 bytes of RAM, a two-channel eight-bit timer/counter, and an eight-bit four-channel a/d converter.
