Addressing high-performance applied computing applications, such as are found in datacomm/telecomm, industrial control/automation, and military/COTS markets, the LBC8918 PICMG 1.0 Rev. 22-compliant passive backplane SBC packs a Pentium III processor with 512 KB of full-core-speed L2 cache, a ServerWorks ServerSet III LE chipset with a 133-MHz front-side bus, and up to 2 GB of PC133-registered SDRAM DIMMs, with full ECC support, on two sockets.
