Little setup and training time and maintenance costs are needed by Sniper, a system used to manually align and place CSP, Micro BGA, Ceramic BGA, and other surface-mount components on boards involved in reworking, prototyping and low-volume production work. The system integrates automatic pneumatic placement of components with a high-power, low-temperature component removal and replacement capabilities. It also comes equipped with a 21" monitor to help guide work on the boards.
