Targeting LCD modules backlit by one or two CCFLs, the P44WD dc/ac inverters have a wide, -30°C to 85°C operating temperature range and provide up to 15W of output power with a starting voltage of up to 2,400 VRMS. Some models deliver up to 9 mA of output current for accelerated lamp warm-up, an especially useful feature for displays operating in cold environs. The P44WD also incorporates a vacuum encapsulated high-voltage section to provide resistance to shock, vibration and humidity. The inverter is supplied with I/O connectors and on-board dimming to provide plug-and-play solutions for designs in automotive, industrial, and medical markets. The inverter costs $15.98 each in OEM quantities. For more details, call Bill Abbott at ENDICOTT RESEARCH GROUP, Endicott, NY. (800) 215-5866.
