The Summit 2100RS rework station for BGAs, CSPs and QFPs automatically performs all four rework operations-- removing components, non- contact site scavenging, solder paste application, and placing and reflowing components-- in one, continuous sequence. Components up to 2" sq. and boards as large as 18" x 22" are accommodated. The system matches the original manufacturer's reflow profile capabilities by maintaining consistent thermal profiles throughout rework and scavenging. Via a menu-driven interface, users can program complete, repeatable rework sequences using a "1-2-3-GO" operation. The system includes the company's Window's based auto-profile software.
