Embedded: Single-Board Computer Hosts STPC Atlas CPU

The XE-700 EPIC form-factor single-board computer incorporates the STPC Atlas, 32-bit 5x86 class CPU with up to 64 Mbytes of RAM and 8 Mbytes of Compact Flash. It's bootable from compact flash. Also, the PC/104-compatible board integrates video, four serial ports, 10/100 Ethernet, 24 bits of digital I/O, and two USB ports. The XE-700 is available in kit form with Linux 2.6, QNX, or DOS. Kit pricing starts at $495.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.
