Touted as an industry first, the IXHQ100 hot-swap controller includes a built-in active power noise filter to reduce bus voltage noise to the printed circuit board, thereby reducing component count. The device also features auto-detection of ground or input voltage loss.
The device controls an on-board series regulator, allowing a wide input voltage range. It permits load current rise adjustments, presettable maximum current limits, and user-adjustable fault indication turn-off times. Operating temperature ranges from -50°C to +85°C. Available in a TSSOP16 package or TO-220, pricing ranges from $2.90 each/100 to $3.30 each/1,000.
