The FLEX Messaging Module reference design includes a RF FLEX receiver and a separate baseband processor board that allows for custom interfacing to a range of applications using a very compact design. It can be rapidly integrated into a variety of industrial, commercial and consumer applications.
The solution is comprised of a 900-MHz RF module built from available components and a MMC 2080-based baseband module that includes the FLEX decoder. The MMC2080 includes the latest Generation II-compliant FLEX decoder and the latest FLEX Stack version 4.2 is ported to the device. A development kit for system evaluation is available for $2985.
