The latest Mitsubishi power module loss simulator, MELCOSIM Version 4.0, assists users in selecting the best power semiconductor devices for their applications. Compatible with Windows 2000/XP/VISTA, the application is suitable for simulating sinusoidal output inverter and DC Chopper modes of IGBT operation. Maintaining the functionality of earlier versions including junction temperature and power loss calculations, it provides the additional capability of calculating junction temperature ripple.
