The BAB 911 single-board computer (SBC) is a PowerPC-based industrial CPU with a compact PCISA interface for PCI bus connections. Based on Motorola's MBC107 chip set, the SBC features a clock speed of 400 MHz. It also offers 256 kbytes of second-level cache and a processor-embedded FPU. The board is suited for complex real-time applications with minimal jitter, fast control tasks with or without intensive numerical calculations, and many advanced communications and control applications. Sample units cost $900 in single-unit quantities for evaluation and certification.
