COTS Graphics Card Includes Anti-Aliasing Capability

Based on the Permedia3 graphics accelerator from 3Dlabs, the PMC GA2 graphics card is said to deliver a leap in performance to the COTS market. The board includes anti-aliasing that is performed in hardware, imposing no additional loading on the host CPU. The board has full X11 and OpenGL software support and provides three-dimensional imaging. Features include a VGA-compatible output supporting resolutions up to 1600 x 1200, a number of video I/O options, and video input and support for PAL, NTSC and RS-170 formats. Pricing starts at $2,696 and availability is eight weeks ARO.
