The SB1-USB family is a line of 6U CompactPCI cards with DVD-R/RW, CD-R/RW, or hard-disk storage. However, these devices are connected to a host using USB 2.0 instead of SCSI or integrated-development-environment interfaces. The boards support up to two drives of any mix. The USB interface is accessible via the front panel or a rear transition module (RTM). IPMI support is included. Pricing for the SB1-USB family starts at $700.
