Emulation System Supports TI's MSP430 MCUs

Dec. 1, 2000

Easily connected to the target hardware using replaceable adapters, the DPROBE- 430 is a modular emulation system that supports Texas Instruments' MSP430 family of low-power microcontrollers with large amounts of on-board flash memory. In addition to supporting the chips, the DPROBE430-DP140 board also supports the MCP-430x11x1 series. The basic system, which consists of a base board and a selectable derivative board, provides functionality that includes: 64K of emulation memory; data breakpoints that can be used to monitor writes and reads to specified variables or sections of data; protection logic; and additional trace memory.
