Developed specifically for use in printed circuit board (PCB) antenna applications, the RO4232 circuit board material integrates electrical and mechanical properties into commercial PTFE and woven-glass laminates. A primary application of the material is expected to be printed circuit board antennas in base stations as well as in circuits for wireless infrastructure including PCS, GSM, LMDS and Bluetooth systems. With a loss tangent of ±0.0018 at 2.5 GHz, the material's physical properties are said to improve both circuit and signal performance. Panels sizes range from 610 mm x 457 mm up to large formats measuring 1.219m x 3.058m.
