By integrating power-factor correction and EMI filtering functions on a single motherboard, Model MP-300 switchmode power supplies are said to offer a 20% reduction in parts count. These modular supplies are offered with from one to five outputs of from 2V to 130V. They function as 300W supplies with an optional fan and as 200W units without. Standard profile for basic units is 2.5" x 5" x 9".The switchers provide a standard snap-in output connector for the auxiliary cooling fan. In addition, both ac input and dc output connectors are on the front of the supply, leaving the rear panel clear and unobstructed. Prototype quantities can be delivered in five days; production orders average four weeks leadtime.
