PC/104+ Modules Cut The Cable

Simplifying relocations, additions, and other network changes, the PPM-Wireless PC/104+ module integrates both 802.11b and 802.11g wireless networking capabilities, replacing the standard CAT5 Ethernet cable with a radio channel. Once configured, a system can be moved from place to place with little or no modification. Measuring 90 mm x 96 mm, the module includes a number of interfaces and a MiniPCI card connector. Other features include an external SMA connector for the antenna, an optional second antenna connector, 32-bit PCI interface, a PC/104 pass-through connector, and a 3.3V regulator that allows the board to operate on 5V.
