The Hercules-EBX lays claim to being the first embedded CPU board to integrate a Pentium-III processor, an analog I/O circuit with auto-calibration, and a wide-input dc/dc power supply onto a single EBX board measuring 5.75" x 8". Supporting Linux, Windows 98/2000/XP, VxWorks, DOS, and QNX, the board operates in temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and provides soldered-in memory, making it suitable for rugged applications. Features include a VIA Eden Pentium-III running at 400 to 733 MHz, fan-less operation with a power dissipation of 10W, 128 to 256 MB of RAM and an array of standard and Ethernet I/O.
