Designed for use with the company's 13.56-MHz read/write microID tagging devices, the MCRF450/7C chip-on-board (COB) module combines the MCR450 read/write RFID device with an 8 mm x 5 mm x 0.4 mm IOA2 module package by International Semiconductor Technology. The module is factory programmed with a unique and permanent 32-bit tag ID prior to assembly. Also, 1 Kb of user memory can be read, written, updated in real time, or write protected in 32-bit blocks. The module also features two 68-pF, high-Q resonant capacitors, anti-collision circuitry, low power consumption, and a 70 kHz data rate. Price: $0.85 each/10K.
