Called the Monolithic Diode Network Series, this new family of diodes is designed to provide transient voltage suppression in applications such as board-level power and I/O lines. Low input capacitance of the devices is especially important for designers of data lines. The networks come in SOICs or PDIPs and in configurations for protecting up to four or eight bidirectional lines-diode network Ei8LCXXX is for the former and Ei6LCXXX for the latter. Designers can also select reverse standoff voltages of 5V, 8V, 12V or 15V.
