The C161 CompactPCI CPU board features three 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet channels, five USB ports, two card-bus slots, and audio/video subsystems using independent coprocessors. Supporting a Pentium III processor up to 1 GHz and up to 2 GB of memory, the board operates as a system or peripheral master and performs redundant backplane placket transfers via the PICMG PSB standard. The audio subsystem provides line in/out, microphone in, and includes a CS4630 PCI audio accelerator. Based on Asilant’s 69030 dual-mode video controller, the video subsystem supports RGB analog and DVI video at resolutions up to 1,600 x 1,200 with 64,000 colors.
