Workstation Toughs Out Harsh Environs

Designed for harsh industrial environments, the AS-100 workstation with touchscreen features a high-resolution, 14.1" TFT LCD display and a six-slot passive backplane. The workstation has a heavy-duty steel chassis, a 4/12 sealed aluminum alloy front panel, and includes a NEMA-rated mount. The system measures 14.8" x 13" x 6.9" and operates in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 50°C, and non-condensing humidity from 5% to 95%. Available with either Windows 98 or NT 4.0, the workstation includes a Pentium 233-MHz, single-board computer, a 6.4 GB hard drive, and 32 MB to 128 MB of RAM. Other features include a front-panel brightness control, 250-W power supply, CD-ROM, floppy drive, optional resistive touchscreen, and optional front speakers.
