Stereo Jacks Come Stacked And Shielded

March 1, 2000

A family of stacked and shielded 3.5-mm stereo jacks can be used for all types of audio applications. The stacked configuration saves PC-board space while the built-in shielding preserves a high signal-to-noise ratio. They are available in SMT or through-hole versions, can be ordered with either plastic or metal bushings and with switching functions, and they are UL approved and CSA certified. Depending on configuration and options, price ranges from $0.10 to $0.18 each/10,000.
