Connector Offers RJ45 & USB Interconnections

May 1, 1999

Interconnections for both a stacked Universal Serial Bus (USB) jack and an RJ45 modular jack are provided on one connector with the release of the RJ45/USB Stacked connector. The device is designed to be used on a network-ready computer that has the network chips on the motherboard, thereby replacing the more expensive NIC card for network attachment. Available with or without LEDs, the connector is fully shielded. The RJ45 Modular Jack carries a voltage rating of 150 vac and the Stacked USB has a voltage rating of 30 vac.
