Three combination socket/terminal interface systems are available on 0.100-, 0.0787-, and 0.025-in. pitch. The hermaphroditic connectors are self-mating. All systems feature polarization to prevent incorrect mating, as well as audible "clicks" to verify proper seating. The LST series 0.100-in. pitch system provides up to 60 I/Os and a board spacing of 0.535 in. On 0.0787-in. pitch, while the LS2 series fully shrouded system supplies up to 60 I/Os and a 0.380-in. board-to-board spacing. For micropitch applications, the LSS system on 0.025-in. pitch offers full shrouding, board spacings from 0.236 to 0.472 in., and up to 100 I/Os. The interface systems cost $0.06 to $0.08 per mated line.
