Two new miniature IC-style dc/dc converters are said to provide improved reliability and extended temperature operation (-40¡C to +85¡C), while saving board space and simplifying final assembly. Joining the companyÕs NTA family, the converters have a 3.3V input and dual isolated outputs of either 12V or 15V. They are said to be ideal for low-voltage applications where analog circuits need to be combined with the latest low-voltage processor technologies. The new NTA surface-mount converters have a footprint of 1.64 cm2 and 1 kVdc isolation between input and output. Pricing is $5.31 each/10,000. C&D TECHNOLOGIES (NCL) INC., Raleigh, NC.
